They are washable, and produce no oil spatter. The issues: they have no oil-temperature display, and they aren’t a cool touch, which is unsafe for smaller children.

These restaurant-grade units have a 2.2lbs food capacity and a 3L oil-immersion capacity. They have an adjustable thermostat, automatic shut-off, signal bell, and removal filter. They fry evenly and fast, and are dishwasher safe.

This programmable electric fryer has a sturdy construction and looks great. Its no-drip oil drainage system makes it easy to clean. It accommodates up to 3 pounds of food and cooks all food evenly. The only issue: it doesn’t filter the used oil from burnt food particles, which means that you will have to change the oil quite frequently. Moreover, it’s pricey compared to some other brands.

T-Fal Family Pro

T-Fal Family Pro is a popular affordable large deep fryer. Its extra-large frying basket has a 2.6 lb food capacity, and will evenly fry even the largest food items. It has an adjustable thermostat, automatic shut-off function, and a washable oil filter. All its removable parts are completely dishwasher safe. Tefal has been creating some of the best kitchen cookware for more than half-a-decade, and their deep fryers are no exception. Tefal is more affordable than many other brands, as well as they tend to last longer. The T-Fal Family Pro costs about twice less than the DeLonghi Dual Zone.
